With the myriad of private schools in Massachusetts, each offering its own programs and approaches to teaching, finding the perfect match for each family can be difficult, and successfully applying is an even bigger hurdle. Private School Innovator (PSI), a website that connects Massachusetts private schools and parents, simplifies this process. Their annual Innovative Education School Fair today provided parents with an opportunity to learn about grade K through 12 private school admissions in a face-to-face, interactive environment.

Representatives from over thirty of the state’s elite independent private schools answered questions such as where to start your school search and how to initiate the application process as well as provided information about their specific creative programming and breakthrough teaching methods.

Panel topics included Why Private School with Susan Cranford of the Bancroft School; Finding the Right School with Reese Lichtenstein of Private School Innovator; Acing the Interview with Andrew Chappell of Roxbury Latin; and Extracurricular Innovation with Jen Wing of Applewild School. The floor was then opened for individual questions with the experts.

The fair allowed parents to individually explore the curriculums and amenities of the schools and meet with admissions directors from each to identify those that would be the best fit for their families.

“I created Private School Innovator as a one-source stop for parents to explore private school options and discover the right match for their children,” said Private School Innovator founder Ed Frowley. “The annual Innovative Education School Fair brings to life that unparalleled access to private school information, allowing parents to meet admissions representatives, ask personalized questions and have one-on-one discussions about what each school has to offer.”

Private institutions in attendance were Brighton School, British School of Boston, Eagle Hill School, Milestones School, Sage School, South Shore Christian Academy, Sparhawk School, The Newman School, Wilbraham andMonson and more.
