Hero Dog Saves Owner

A dog in New Jersey is being hailed as a hero after saving its owner’s life.

Police received a call from two women who were out for a walk when a frantic dog used its paws to break through a glass window and barked to get their attention. It was clear to them that something was wrong, so they called police.

Officers arrived at the scene and looked inside where they found the dog’s owner passed out on the floor. She was unconscious but breathing and clearly suffering from an unknown medical issue. It’s believed she may have been lying on the floor for a while. The woman was transported to the hospital where she remains under intensive care.

The dog, meanwhile, had to be treated for some cuts on its paws and is now being cared for by a neighbor. Police are calling the dog a hero and said they wish to thank “Our Hero Resident K9 for saving their owner’s life and the two women who ‘Saw something and said something.’”
