Reviews of our Site Author: Liza Loop
There is a lot of exciting activity to report in the field of Learning and Education. This includes achievements of students and institutions in formal education and access for individuals to resources for independent learning. One example is the Open Courseware Consortium http://www.ocwconsortium.org/use/index.html . Another is the Home Schooling site at http://homeschooling.gomilpitas.com/ . Part of the current trend to make learning resources available free to anyone who wants them, sites such as these are good news for all learners. At the present time, GND does not permit contributors to add new topics and there is no contact information for the web master. The message doesn't really belong in "Review of our Site". I'd like to be contacted by the webmaster and by others who would like to grow this or a comparable web site into an exciting meeting place for good news junkies. Liza lizaloop@gmail.com
