Kindness pays – in next week’s case, it pays in donuts.

On November 13, Krispy Kreme will be giving away free donuts at each of their US stores to celebrate World Kindness Day. The first 500 people at each location will get 12 glazed treats to share with others – or keep for themselves.

The special is part of a global effort to ‘inspire people’ and ‘share kindness.’

Other Krispy Kreme locations outside the US will also be offering gestures to celebrate World Kindness Day.

The lucky free donut recipients will also be able to share a bit of kindness of their own by using #KrispyKreme and tagging @krispykreme on Instagram and X (formerly known as Twitter) after receiving their sugary goodness. Krispy Kreme will be giving away a dozen free original glazed donuts to lucky store customers to celebrate World Kindness Day+3View gallery

Global Chief Brand Officer Dave Skena hopes that the dozen free glazed donut special will inspire millions to give small acts of kindness.

‘World Kindness Day is an opportunity to make a positive difference by being generous – from paying it forward to meaningfully connecting with each other,’ he said.

‘Simple gestures of caring and thanks, including sharing a sweet treat, is a great way to do that.’

Despite Krispy Kreme offering a wide variety of donuts this fall, glazed donuts will be the only kind given to the lucky 500 recipients for free on November 13.

According to Dave Skena, World Kindness Day is an opportunity to make 'a positive difference by being generous.'

Krispy Kreme lovers who do not make it on time for their dozen free original glazed donuts can still enjoy other limited time donuts to celebrate fall.

The chain is running the Flavors of Fall collection now until Thanksgiving at participating stores in the US that is meant to be a ‘sweet way to enjoy the crisp days of fall.’

The caramel pecan brownie donut is dipped in brownie batter icing topped with pecans and caramel drizzle – a delightful treat for brownie lovers everywhere.

Fans can also enjoy the chain’s new classic blackberry crisp-filled donut, which includes cinnamon icing and cinnamon latte buttercream.

Speaking of cinnamon, the all-new cinnamon latte lover donut will also make sugar lovers smile with its cinnamon icing and buttercream.

Other donuts being offered in the fall collection include the spiced apple filled donut, chocolate iced with autumn sprinkles donut, and the pumpkin spice cake donut.

Krispy Kreme is also planning on showing kindness to those who serve to celebrate Veterans Day on November 11.

The chain will be offering all Veterans and military personnel a free donut of choice and a free iced or hot small coffee.

This offer will only be valid on the holiday, and is limited to one per guest, in-shop and drive-thru only.
