Twins, 10 Months, Found Unharmed After Hero Parents Hid Them Before Attack In Israel

Parents Itay and Hadar Berdichevsky, both 30, were killed when Hamas broke into their home

Two Israeli parents killed in their home by Hamas have been hailed as heroes for their quick actions in hiding their 10-month-old twins, who were found safe after they left alone for more than 12 hours.

Itay and Hadar Berdichevsky, both 30, rushed their children to safety when the intruders broke into their home in Kfar Aza, a kibbutz in southern Israel about two miles east of Gaza, Israeli news outlet, Walla, reported.

The Berdichevskys tried to fight back but were killed in the attack, according to the publication.

However, the couple’s two children survived after their parents hid them in a shelter, Gali Dagan, the Israeli ambassador to Colombia, wrote in a post on X.

The two babies were left alone for more than 12 hours before they were found and rescued, Dagan wrote.

“Imagine the horror. Two terrified parents doing everything they can to save their children, who are now orphaned,” the ambassador wrote.

“Blessed be the memory of these heroes.”

According to Walla, the infants were turned over to their grandmother…and are now safe.
